Zazenkai – One day retreat
A zazenkai is usually scheduled for one Saturday or Sunday in months when no longer retreats are held. Exact dates, times and costs will be announced. Zazenkai’s provide a wonderful way for beginning students to experience sitting for longer periods of time.

Intensive Retreats (Sesshin) – -3, 5, and 7 day
All students are encouraged to attend retreats (sesshin) full or part-time. Retreats help to center the student and build mindfulness. Please visit the center for the daily retreat schedule.

Movie Night
Vista Zen Center has a tradition of movie night every two-three months. Hopefully, we will be able to continue this tradition after we are settled in a physical location again.
